Osun State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner of Police Mohammad Abba, has ordered the deployment of security personnel to the warring areas of Ifon, Ilobu, and Erin communities in a bid to restore peace and order in the affected areas.
This was made known in a statement signed by the Acting Public Relations Officer of the Command, Adeoye Adeola.
He noted that 3 suspects with Dane guns have been arrested with plans to be charged in court after a thorough investigation.
Adeola stated that the Command has partnered with other Security Agencies to ensure the protection of lives and properties in the warring areas, adding that both perpetrators and their sponsors will be brought to book.

Following the raging communal clash, the state Governor, Ademola Adeleke has imposed 24 hours curfew in the affected areas.
This, according to the Governor, will reduce the level of crisis and will reveal the culprit.
