One of the residents of Damaturu, Mustapha Gujba, disclosed the incident on his Facebook page.
The cause of the fire outbreak was yet to be ascertained.

According to reports gathered, the fire was controlled through the combined efforts of firefighters, as and good samaritans.
It was learnt no life was reported to have been lost, but unquantifiable goods and other belongings were destroyed.
