Ahead of their opening match at AFCON, Nigeria’s Super Eagles (Class of 2024) have received national honours certificates, housing allocation documents, and land grants in Abuja and Lagos.

The rewards were pledged by President Bola Tinubu following the team’s second-place finish at the 2023 AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire.

The presentation took place at the team hotel in Fez, Morocco, led by NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko and a delegation of sports and government officials.

All players received the MON, except Ahmed Musa and Victor Osimhen, who were awarded OON, while William Troost-Ekong received MFR as Player of the Tournament.
