Speaking during a road walk held to create awareness for the event, the Vice-Chancellor Tanko Ishaya said the university is fully prepared to host one of the best NUGA Games ever.

He assured that Plateau is peaceful and ready to welcome visitors, adding that hosting thousands of participants will boost the local economy.

Ishaya thanked the Federal Government, President Bola Tinubu, and Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang for their support.

Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub-Committee, Taye Obateru, said the event will showcase the peace, hospitality, and energy of Jos.

Global President of the University of Jos Alumni Association, Peter Gad, said the Games will highlight the talent of Nigerian youths and promote development in the state.
