]]> Information has it that Aliyu Zubairu’s side started preparations for the competition in Abuja last week.

The Flying Eagles will train in Ikenne for one week before travelling to Togo for the competition. They defeated Morak FC 6-0 in a friendly match at the FIFA Gold Project Pitch, Abuja.

The Flying Eagles will face Cote d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso in Group B at the WAFU tournament.

The competition will serve as the qualifier for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
