]]> A man in Adamawa State, 35-year-old Muhammad Auwal, has allegedly defiled his teenage daughter.

The state command of the Nigeria Police said in a statement  that it had arrested the man over the offence.

The command said in the statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, that it made the arrest on Wednesday, September 11.

The PPRO added that the suspect has since confessed to committing the crime and will be charged to court.
