Amokachi was appointed handler of Lobi Stars following the sacking of Eugene Agagbe.

Agagbe was sacked following Lobi Stars’ poor start to the 2024/25 campaign.

The Makurdi club recorded one win, one draw and three defeats from five games.

Amokachi took charge of the team’s training session at the McCarthy Stadium earlier in the day.

The team kicked off intensive training ahead of their highly anticipated North Central derby against Niger Tornadoes this weekend.
