Anita Joseph Confirms Separation From Husband MC Fish

Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph, has officially announced the end of her marriage to Fisayo ‘MC Fish’ Michael.

The actress disclosed the news via Instagram, putting to rest months of controversy about the state of their union, saying, “calling a spade a spade, my marriage is over”.

Her declaration follows widespread rumours alleging the marriage’s collapse due to issues, including infidelity, domestic violence, and substance abuse on the part of MC Fish.

Reports had also claimed that Joseph suffered two pregnancy losses, a miscarriage and a stillbirth, during the turbulent period.

While she had previously assured the public that she was “doing fine,” she remained silent on the specific details of her marriage until now.

Reflecting on the difficult chapter, the actress wrote, “Life has a way of testing our strength in ways we never expect, especially in marriage”.

She acknowledged being in a season of “deep reflection, pain, and healing,” and although the path forward is unclear, she is consciously choosing “grace, growth, and faith—one step at a time”.

Patrick Doyle Says He Is Proud of Ex-Wife Ireti’s Success

Veteran broadcaster and actor Patrick Doyle says he is pleased with how well his ex-wife, actress Ireti Doyle, has done in her career, and how well she has carried the name “Doyle”.

Speaking in an interview, he said he would rather remain silent than speak negatively about her.

Responding to a question about her progress in the film industry, Patrick said he is happy the Doyle name “opened doors” for her and that she has represented it well.

“She’s doing pretty well, and I am proud of her achievements,” he said.

You would recall that the actress announced divorce from the actor in January 2023 over an undisclosed reason.

Ned Nwoko Denies Marrying Regina Daniels as a Minor

The Delta North lawmaker said his marriage to Daniels was conducted “honourably” and with her family’s full consent. He stated that Daniels was 19 at the time of their union, not 17 as alleged online.

To support his position, Nwoko shared an image of a Nigerian voter’s card purportedly belonging to Daniels, indicating her date of birth as October 10, 1998. He explained that when they first met, Daniels told him she was 21, and upon his request, presented the document as proof of her age.

According to Nwoko, their marriage took place six years ago, which would make Daniels 27 years old. He dismissed all contrary reports as baseless, stressing that “the facts are verifiable and indisputable.”

The senator also accused Daniels of spreading falsehoods about their relationship, alleging that she is battling personal challenges, including a “rehabilitation from illegal drug addiction.” He urged the public to treat her claims with caution, citing concerns about her “mental condition.”

Nwoko maintained that his marriage to Daniels followed due process and that suggestions of marrying her as a minor should be disregarded.

“Today, I rise again, not because the pain is gone, but because I know Ayomikun would want me to. My passion calls, and I’m ready to return to the screen,” she said.

Ogunmola, daughter of late theatre icon Kola Ogunmola and wife of actor Sunday Omobolanle (Papi Luwe), said she is now stronger and ready to work again.

The actress disclosed this while speaking in a video session with actress Ayo Adesanya. She revealed that she called off her wedding after enduring repeated physical abuse from her then-partner.

She said it was an experience that pushed her to end the relationship a day before their wedding, adding that despite pressure from family and her partner to proceed, she refused to sign the marriage papers.

“Marriage is not a do or die affair. When domestic violence becomes too much, it’s best to walk away. If you accept it once, be ready to keep accepting it for the rest of your life. She said.

“My husband was a violent person. I remember one day he broke the kitchen door while I was boiling water, dragged me by my hair, and I started bleeding. That’s a day I’ll never forget.

Habibat Jinad Accuses Lateef Adedimeji of Cutting Off Old Friends

The issue began after actor Itu Iberu said in a video that Adedimeji, whom he once struggled with, no longer takes his calls and has blocked his number.

Reacting, Jinad said she had a similar experience, revealing that Adedimeji blocked her on social media for over four years. She explained that they were once close friends and began their acting journey together, but their relationship broke down after he turned down a movie role she offered, saying he only acted in “good films.”

Jinad said she later found out he had blocked her on WhatsApp and Instagram but recently noticed she had been unblocked. She added that while it’s normal to outgrow people, blocking them is unnecessary.

Adedimeji has not yet responded to the allegations.

Nkechi Blessing Slams Lizzy Anjorin for Mentioning Her Late Mother

The clash started after Anjorin criticised Blessing on Instagram for allegedly siding with Iyabo Ojo against her. She also mocked Blessing’s finances and made a remark about her mother’s death.

Blessing fired back, warning Anjorin never to mention her mother again. She accused her of arrogance and constant bragging about money, insisting she never insulted Anjorin in the first place.

“You will not prosper. It will not be sweet if I say it in English. I have her time this night. All the money that you have that it takes only one sleep for one not to wake up. Every time you are always bragging about money. Some people have money more than you,” she said.

The exchange is part of the renewed feud between Anjorin and Ojo, which had briefly cooled but has recently flared up again.

Recall that the actress, who recently tied the knot with star musician, Mr Eazi, in a three-part wedding celebration across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland, an event reportedly costing $15 million.

Shortly after the ceremony, the actress updated her Instagram bio to ‘Temi Otedola Ajibade’, including Eazi’s surname.

In an interview, the 29-year-old actress said it felt “natural” to take her husband’s name after their wedding, describing it as her “personal choice”.

She emphasised that while the path brought her comfort and happiness, she fully respects the different choices other women make.

“To be deeply honest with you, it’s not anything I had thought about. It was obvious that when I became a married woman, the obvious thing for me was to take my husband’s name, but it’s my choice,” she said.

“I respect everybody’s personal choice. It’s what I’m comfortable and happy doing it.”

The actress also shared reasons for marrying the 34-year-old singer, whom she began dating in 2017.

“There are too many that made me marry him. How would I choose one? I mean, first and foremost, he’s my best friend, that’s my person. And I think when you meet your person, you will know,” she added.

“I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anybody else. He’s the person I’m excited about and can’t wait to spend every day with and build our lives together, work through our ups and downs together, celebrate together, and solve problems together. He’s simply my person. So, we’re just excited for what’s to come.”
