Speaking in an interview, the mother of three said, “After my third baby, I didn’t like what I saw. I felt I owed it to myself to be happy and confident. I did the surgery for my mental health, not for anyone else.”

Ogbodo, who has had three cesarean sections, said the physical changes from childbirth affected her self-image. She added that her husband supported her decision.

Criticizing the culture of secrecy among celebrities, she said many undergo cosmetic procedures but pretend it’s natural. “You’re a role model, why lie to people who look up to you? I believe in honesty and using my life to encourage women,” she said.

While acknowledging the risks of surgery, Ogbodo said she felt safe and well-informed. “There’s risk in everything, even malaria. I was in good hands,” she added.
