A media aide to Adeleke, Kazeem Mohammed, confirmed the reception of the letter by his principal adding that he would honour the invitation soon.

Mohammed maintained that his principal was only invited for questioning and not arrested as it is been circulated on social media, saying Adeleke was met by the ICPC officials that brought the letter while leaving the premises of a radio station in Osogbo, the state capital, in the evening.
