He dropped this hint while featuring on Rédíò Afínju’s Yoruba current affairs program’ Gbagede Ọrọ’.
Adebayo emphasized that the Omoluabi caucus, a faction under the leadership of Rauf Aregbesola, was supposed to have been expelled from the party for a very long time, as the group worked against the success of the party in the last gubernatorial election, making Aregbesola a political ingrate.
In a bid to affirm his stand on the group’s neglect in the last gubernatorial election, he maintained that APC gave the duo of former Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Najeem Salam, and the current Chairman of Omoluabi Progressives, Azeez Adesiji logistics fund which they failed to use as planned.

To further buttress Aregbesola’s ingratitude to the party, Adebayo asserted that the Spokesperson to Rauf Aregbesola, Soji Fasure received salary from the immediate past Governor of the State, Gboyega Oyetola, throughout his reign as Fasure was an active member on Oyetola’s payroll.
Reacting to this, a stakeholder in the Omoluabi Progressives Caucus, Kamorudeen Adabanija, explained that Aregbesola was not expelled due to anti-party activities, saying it does not translate to expulsion, citing the case of Nyesom Wike, who is a Minister of the Federation.
He also stated that Aregbesola also assisted Bola Tinubu’s political dream as no one is a political island and noted several cases of attacks on them from the opposition.
Adabanija, while lauding Aregbesola, asserted that Aregbesola was the first governor in the history of the State to pay 13 months’ salary to workers in the State.
