Speaking at a press conference on behalf of the association, the former chairman of Odo-Otin East Local Government, Samuel Owoeye, maintained that Adeleke’s administration has failed to be transparent by accounting for and showing evidence of what the public’s fund was used for at the grassroots.

Owoeye also noted that the incumbent government has embarked on this act of impunity without a democratically elected local government official since the administration took over the mantle of leadership.

He further emphasized the Supreme Court’s stance on forbidding the State in the country from tampering with Local Government allocations.

Owoeye affirmed that this untoward behavior of the incumbent administration in Osun has impoverished the state, most especially at the grassroots.

He, however, called on the Federal government and relevant stakeholders to ensure justice is done for the people of Osun State, especially those at the grassroots.
