A government official confirmed the incident to newsmen.
The incident was said to have occurred at about 1:30 am in the early hours of the day.

A delegation of the Kwara State Government was reported to have visited the scene of the fire outbreak to assess the situation
The government official further said a delegation will soon visit the incident scene to commiserate with the people.
