According to Babayemi, the news of the demise of the renowned fearless Islamic cleric was shocking and devastating.
In his condolence message to Muslim brothers and sisters across Nigeria and the world at large, he urged them to take solace in the fact that the late religious leader did his best in delivering God’s messages to ensure that the world toed the path of God.
“Alhaji Bello truly lived a worthy life of emulation in propagating the ideals of Islam to the world. He fearlessly spoke truth to power.He lived for others, an example of what everyone should hanker after” he stressed.
Babayemi noted that the late renowned Islamic cleric would continue to be missed on account of his forthrightness and simple life style as reflected in his teachings.
“This great man will surely be missed because his teachings touched every subject of life which is now left for everyone who heard it to believe”
He prayed that the family of the deceased, sympathizers and the Muslim community be consoled by God over the death of the popular preacher.
