In a statement posted on its X handle, LASEPA said its operatives carried out the enforcement operation in Mushin, Amuwo Odofin, and Okota Isolo areas of the state.
The agency noted that the operation underscores its commitment to fostering a healthier and more sustainable environment for all Lagosians.
It said that the establishments were shut down for failing to comply with environmental standards, despite prior notices from the agency.
The General Manager of the agency, Babatunde Ajayi, while speaking on the enforcement, reiterated the LASEPA’s zero-tolerance policy for activities that jeopardize public health and community harmony.
Ajayi called on Lagos residents to report environmental violations through LASEPA’s official channels, stressing the importance of collective action in preserving the environment.
