Iconic Greek singer, Marinella has suffered a stroke mid-performance.
Reports say the 86-year-old songstress collapsed on Wednesday night during a concert at Athens’ Herod Atticus Theatre.
The incident happened when the singer lost her balance and collapsed during her third song on stage.
The concert, which was also set to feature Greek singer Antonis Remos, was immediately cancelled.
A statement from Hygeia Hospital, stated that Marinella is currently being treated in the intensive care unit for severe brain bleeding.
Marinella’s career has spanned over six decades.
