Amadi’s statement comes after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared the All Progressives Congress, APC’s Monday Okpebholo as winner of the Edo State governorship election.
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had also rejected the result declared by the INEC.
PDP’s state collation agent for the party Tony Iyoha, alleged that the results from two local councils of Oredo and Ikpoba-Okha were deliberately delayed to alter the figures.
Before now, Amadi, former Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, had argued that the INEC was the problem.
He then stated that neither of the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the Labour Party, LP, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, was currently doing anything to change the structure and culture of election management.
