There was panic at the University College Hospital, UCH in Ibadan when a spark ignited a fire in one of the wards in the hospital.
It was gathered that the fire incident happened in the early hours of today.
It was learnt that the fire broke out in one of the hospital offices on the third floor of the South West 3 ward.
The fire reportedly resulted in panic among patients and their relations in the ward, causing chaos.
The Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Funmi Adetuyibi has confirmed the incident, saying the fire started from a spark in the change-over panel in one of the rooms in the laboratory.
