The president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria ,TAMPAN, Bolaji Amusan, confirmed Sanyaolu’s demise via an Instagram post.While the cause of his death and date of passing remained unknown, colleagues in the film industry have taken to social media to pay their last respects.
In a tribute post via Instagram, Jide Kosoko described Sanyaolu as a beacon of kindness and warmth.
Doyin Amodu, TAMPAN UK president, also mourned her colleague. She wrote: “Your love for arts and unwavering support for the industry were unmatched. Good night my brother and director. You will deeply be missed.”
Sanyaolu was known for his exceptional directing skills. He contributed to the production of films like ‘The Honourable’, ‘Two Wives’, and ‘Omo Olosan’.
