Osun PDP suspends Oyinlola’s ex-CoS over anti-party activities

Peoples Democratic Party ,PDP, in Osun State has suspended former Chief of Staff ,CoS, to Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Peter Babalola, over alleged anti-party activities.

Babalola, who served Oyinlola when he was the governor of Osun State, was appointed by Governor Ademola Adeleke as the chairman of College of Education, Ila-Orangun last year.

A letter of Babalola’s suspension signed by 17 party executives at Ward 7 in Irewole Local Government, chaired by Odelade Adesoye, was dated August 27, 2024.

The letter said after deliberations on anti-party activities of  Babalola in the PDP for the past two years, and his habitual engagements in activities that can put the party into disrepute, coupled with the fact that he has not attended PDP ward meeting or local government meeting in the last two years, the executive of PDP in Ward 7, Irewole Local Government, suspended Babalola from PDP Ward 7, Irewole Local Government with effect from today, August 27, 2024.
