On Tuesday, a video went viral showing some individuals struggling to rescue a singer who suffered a seizure and collapsed during a live performance.
Although the man’s identity was not revealed, some bloggers alleged that it was Tekno.
Reacting to the reports on Instagram, the ‘Pana’ hitmaker reassured fans of his well-being.
Tekno also confirmed that he is healthy and not currently in South Africa. He offered prayers for the well-being of the person in the viral video.
At the age of 8, Tekno was enrolled in a music school where he learned and mastered the rudiments of playing the piano and guitar.
He began to earn fame in the music industry after he put out his first single titled ‘Holiday’ in 2013.
He has since then released other hit songs including ‘Pana’, ‘Enjoy’, ‘Skeletun’, and ‘Diana’.
The singer has also received several awards and recognition for his craft.
In February, Curtis Jackson, the US rapper better known as 50 Cent, hailed the Nigerian artiste for sampling one of his songs.
Teckno sampled the rapper’s 2003 hit single ‘In Da Club’ in his 2017 track ‘GO’.
In July, he released two singles titled ‘No Forget’ and ‘Gon Gon’.
