Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has met with his predecessor, Akinwunmi Ambode.
Sanwo-Olu said they discussed issues centred around the future of the state and building on the solid foundation already in place.
Posting on his X page, Sanwo-Olu said their conversation centred around the future of Lagos and building on the solid foundation already in place.
Ambode, who was governor in 2015 lost his reelection bid in 2019 to Sanwo-Olu.
During the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election, Ambode had a nasty fallout with Sanwo-Olu.
But, both men mend the fence in 2023 when Sanwo-Olu and Ambode met publicly at a reception organised in honour of President Bola Tinubu at the Lagos House in the Marina area of the state.
It was the first time Sanwo-Olu, Ambode and another former Lagos governor, Babatunde Fashola, met in over four years since the wind of internal wrangling slapped the ruling political class in the state.
